I made it to Markarth

I arrived later in the evening to the city and it is impressive. A massive Dwarven city built into the side of the mountain. There are several water features and some gorgeous flowers growing all around it. When I entered the city I actually stopped a man from killing a woman in the open market. Turns out he was part of a crazed group called the Foresworn.

After they tried to attack me in the Tavern I realized the mistake I had made. I had gotten myself involved in something big and ugly in this city. After digging around a bit I was able to discover just how f*cked I truly was. The city guards didn’t take kindly to my snooping and it landed me in even deeper trouble.

I was thoroughly beaten trying to flee the city and thrown into a prison mine called Cydna. I don’t know what I am going to do, or how I can begin to figure out a way to escape, but I am not spending the rest of my days rotting in this hole. While investigating this whole foresworn thing I did learn that their leader is in prisoned here also. I think my best shot is to seek him out, as it seems he has agents on the outside that can get things done.

Fyre: Fu*k it, no peace today!

I have been in Skyrim for 2 days! I guess you cannot outrun your past? I had a great start to my day. I had a sensible breakfast, and went on my merry way from Falkreath. Out into the beauty of Skyrim, only to stumble across what I thought was a friendly mining camp. It turns out they are all Orc men, and like Orc men do, they sought to overpower me. I was greeting with ARROWS! ffs. They quickly learned that I wasn’t just a girl in fancy armor.

They really didn’t put up much of a fight. Out of the mess I was able to pull out a decent war hammer. When I investigated the structure there was what seemed to be a treasure room, but after clearing it out and laying waste to the pathetic Orc leader, I was able to get into said room. It was empty, except for some shards of a dagger blade, I felt compelled to grab them, although I do not know what I will do with a broken dagger.

I rested a bit and continued my long walk to Markarth. Along the way I stumbled across a group being attacked by savages. I rushed to their aide. I made swift work of them as they were savage warriors but lacked any form of combat discipline.

The ungrateful bastards then turned on me, and wouldn’t you know it, they were Orc! I feel the Gods are punishing me for what I have done! Either that or delivering up more for me to enact justice upon!

That pathetic look in his eyes knowing that I, a woman, had bested him. I want to rid Tamriel of these cowards, I want to set my people free of their “traditions”, how can I achieve this? Maybe the answers will find me in Markarth.

Fyre: I arrived in Skyrim

After running for what seemed like days I am finally free of Hammerfell. I leave my rage behind and start a new life here. So far Skyrim seems a peaceful place, filled with some unique beauty. I’m enjoying the flowers and herbs here, I see a lot of potential for a peaceful life here.

I have decided to make my way to Markarth, as it sound similar to Malacath. Even though I wish to leave my past behind me, I cannot run away from who I am. I must use my time here to embrace who I am and cultivate the person I wish to become.

First I will spend a night in Falkreath. Luckily I managed to trade some Alchemy ingredients for enough gold to get a room in the local Inn. I will sleep well tonight and venture out towards Markarth in the morning.
